Strange Things That Happen If You are a Writer – Finding inspiration

You will be too shocked to know how we come about these write ups and masterpieces. It is a heaven of experience when you are a writer. Some of us even get inspiration from eavesdropping in your conversations, it is that ridiculous! 

To me, writing is like a coin - two sided. One day, I muddle up some words together and it looks like the best thing that I have ever written yet another day I look at that same piece and I think it is crap. So I take it off my display picture, Instagram, even this website and dump it somewhere I can’t remember.

Similarly, on one of these days, I burst of dopamine and I am so filled with inspiration that my pages overflow but for the next days, weeks, maybe months I can’t write jack. The worst part is when I search for inspiration, find it and don’t know what to do with it.

Another thing is that the words that eventually come out as poems or these write ups constantly bug me like bees hovering around its honeycomb when I am too lazy to write them out. If I am not quick enough to pen it down, the words or inspiration either runs away and never returns. So you can imagine another person trying to have a conversation with me at that time. You are damn right, I am not listening. A little secret to why some writers are silent when you are speaking to them; it is not that they are really listening, they probably caught the holy ghost of an inspiration in some of your words and they are reciting it over again in their heads so that they won’t forget.
