I am an indecisive writer, an inconsistent blogger
with freckles on the face and so many opinions.

A SAVIOUR CALLED FEMINISM? “I don’t think so…”

6/18/2016

The 21st century feminism is too futile. Many feminists call for equality but I prefer justice for women. A scenario for my opinion is this; “There are ten pebbles, a woman’s bag can contain six while a man’s bag can contain four. Equality says give five pebbles each. Justice on the other hand says give six pebbles to the woman and four pebbles to the man.”
Besides that, I am tired of the “superhero type of feminism,” a naked, lazy and “easy way out” type. The kind that defines equality as women going out shirtless because men can. The type that seeks validation by a woman who shaves her head or leaves an unkempt armpit or burns her bra.
I want a movement that educates men about what women want. A feminism that motivates women to want something for themselves. A movement that fights for justice passionately because it is needed, not for lustful interests. A movement enticing for men to participate in. A reason for men and women to change their mentality and actions. A movement that frustrates the limitation of girls to the kitchen because married men want to eat. I want a movement where females are liberated to be role models for males to imitate.

I want a new kind feminism, the one that changes and motivates our daily actions. The type that starts from you, me, and every decision we have to make concerning girls and women today.
