by Oyindamola Shoola The truth is,
I started this poem writing about how, on Monday, Lafenwa - the weatherman on NTA said there was a "50% chance of rain in Ibadan." We all went about the day without umbrellas or the right attires to prepare for what was coming our way. To say it rained is an understatement. It was as if the sky wept. But what I really wanted to say with this poem is that there are 7,794,798,739 people in the world. Yet, I’ll give up a million certainties for half a chance to be loved by you.
