Pre-marital counseling on Saturdays,
is where Kofi and I understand our ways.
Today's topic was love languages and as
Kofi spoke, the shrink jotted pages.
When Kofi finished, they both turned and said,
"Halima tell us, what is yours?"
I replied, "Mine is very simple!"
When I am silent, ask for my bank account.
If I have a headache, I want bone straight,
when my feet ache, a vacation is due;
what a vacation can't cure, a Gucci shoe will do.
The only weight I plan to lift,
is a Birkin bag and any other gift.
At a restaurant, when we are served to eat,
I'll ignore mine and take from your plate
and when my dresses no longer fit,
you must say they shrunk, because I don't get fat.
My love language is as simple
as A B C D E
F G H I,
U V W X Y and Z.
